9A CW + various electronics

I did the 9A CW just before Christmas and it seems to be a #1 EU win so very happy about that.

I also built some on the QBL amplifier, did a few things down at SJ2W during my vacation and lately I have been trying to figure out if I should start to sell not only PCBs for antenna switches but maybe also complete switches. I think the result seem to come out pretty good and its high quality stuff, so maybe its worth it. Its a way to fund the progress @SJ2W which seem to be a big black hole when it comes to money 🙂

Comments:

This was quite fun. I didn't know if I would do it serious or not. During the
time I did operate I did it serious but I took a long nap during the night. I
don't know how much I lost because of that but because DX activity is so low in
this contest I don't think it hurts too much when Europe is still sleeping. I
had intended to sleep 3 hours though but it ended up being almost 5.

40m was horrible during the night, the MUF went below 7 MHz so I could not hear
any Europe so I had to spend a lot of time on 80 and 160m. Otherwise conds were
really good except as stated the DX activity is very low in this one. Tried to
run some on 40m during daylight and it was monster signals from JA/US but no
callers.

Fun to hear UT2G, YR1A, UA5A with high numbers. Not sure of their category
though so it will be interesting to see.
