My sugesstion for the top bearing of your 18m tower:
Cover the bearing with an plastic bucket for protection of rain. Otherways the grease could washed out of the bearing especialy in hot summertime, when the grease is more fluent.

Thanks for the QSL during the CQ WW SSB contest, guys :) I was running a Kenwood TS-450S, 90 watts or so, radiating from an Alpha Delta Communications Inc DX-EE parallel multi-band dipole (radiation pattern north-south, so weak to northern Europe from my station.

Nice station! I noticed you use the UR4LL type of vacuum caps in your 40 meter stackbox. I have hipot tested those on my hipot tester (max 16kV) and they are good for well over 10kV between all ports. You can see some info of testing here:
